This is why it's the preferred platform for most of us here on the sub. It's much deeper than Auctioneer in terms of what you can do with it, and what it can do for you.Įssentially, TSM is more a 'power user' utility. TSM does the same, but you can set up custom groups (for frequent posting of your items at set prices using custom auctioning rules and prices), custom mat price rules (for things that use soulbound mats and thus have no auction value, but you still need to know what they're 'worth.'), custom shopping rules and price points you want to buy at, etc. It shows you what your stuff is worth, based on the scans you perform, and helps manage posting your auctions. They're both good addons, but instead of going over what each of them can do, I'll mention the two biggest differences between themĪuctioneer is a more-basic platform. The reason I like very much the snatch function of auctioneer and I have not yet verified if TSM has a similar function that is better.Īs others have said, it depends on your needs. However, I have abandoned Auctionator (which I only used to delete auctions with undercutting). With TSM I save a lot of time by not having to set prices manually. Auctioneer has a system of appreciation, but it's gross. Scans: the data used by TSM are in the cloud, unlike those used by Auctioneer that are on your PC. My opinion is not exhaustive, I only know TSM for a few hours, but here's what I think: I watched some guides on youtube and decided to try TSM, after a few minutes I realized that I could not do without it. I tried TSM and decided to leave my opinion for those who are curious (as I was).

As we’ve expressed in the past, we are prepared to make changes to TSM, including permanently removing the Sniper feature to help improve the AH for everyone. However, we remain absolutely open to working with their team to address any concerns they are willing to share regarding TSM functionality or implementation. We believe the fact that people are just now noticing this shows how slow the Auction House has been since 8.3 launched, and how much faster it is now that Blizzard have reverted or relaxed the more recently implemented aggressive throttling.Īt this point in time, we plan to re-enable Sniper with TSM4.10 as we have still not heard back from Blizzard. This would have appeared as your TSM scan pausing for a while, but importantly would not have impacted posting speed as the recent throttling did.
